Brand New Sin in Raleigh August 16th
Right, so it is 4:20pm on Wednesday, and I am just waking up.
These after show partys are killing me.
Dog Faced Gods, cool guys, need to work on their sound. A little too low key for me, even when they are trying to be hard.
The Giraffes, cool guys too. Interesting show, mediocre sound. Given some time they might get somewhere.
Supagroup, 4 of the coolest guys. For reasons I won’t go into here, our hats are off to Supagroup for performing last night. Just know that it was because of the people in the crowd that went up to them and said they came to see them because they had seen them with COC or Whitesnake; the guys played just for you.
Brand New Sin… I sream out Wyoming! First time played live is my understanding, or else everyone else that’s seen the tour has kept it all under wraps. Great set, great songs, great guys, great crew, and they are finally gettin’ what they deserve.
They just found out right before the show that they are confirmed to be direct supprt for Black Label Society on their upcoming US tour. They are then going to Europe with Life Of Agony, and spending the Christmas holidays at home. So it won’t be until 2006 when you’ll get to see BNS back in Raleigh.
So, go see Black Label Society Wednesday October 19th with Brand New Sin and Dope at the Milinium Center in Winston-Salem.
